Annual Financial Reports

Anyone interested in learning more about the financial workings of the Wicomico County Public Schools will find a wealth of information in the school system's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The ACFR provides a thorough and detailed presentation of the school system's financial condition, activities, and balances for the fiscal year, a number of financial statements, and key statistical information on finances, demographics, building inventory, and operations. Information is also included on the local economy, capital plans, enrollment, budget, and staffing, much of it presented over 10 years so that trends can be seen. The Independent Auditors' Report, as well as Management's Discussion and Analysis, appear at the front of the ACFR with an unqualified "clean" opinion on the financial statements.
