The Delmarvacade of Bands returns to Wicomico County Stadium on Saturday Oct. 26, and will showcase 11 high school bands that are a part of the Maryland Marching Band Association (MMBA). Spectators are invited to come to the stadium to enjoy the music and showmanship of marching bands from Wicomico County Public Schools and beyond.

The bands competing will represent Kent Island High School, Annapolis Area Christian High School, Colonel Richardson High School, Chesapeake High School, Easton High School, Crofton High School, Arundel High School, Wicomico High School, James M. Bennett High School and Parkside High School.
Bands performing in exhibition include Snow Hill High School and the University of Maryland’s “The Mighty Sound of Maryland.”
Delmarvacade of Bands takes place at Wicomico County Stadium in Salisbury, and is hosted by the Parkside Band Boosters. Admission to this event is $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. This is an incredible musical and visual event and it is a great opportunity for families with young musicians to see and hear what high school band is all about.
Delmarvacade of Bands is also serving as the MMBA Eastern Regional Competition. Competing bands will perform for Eastern Region Honors as well as their seeding for State Championships the following weekend. The marching bands from Wicomico High School, James M. Bennett High School and Parkside High School will compete in the MMBA State Championships Nov. 2 at Towson University.
