The next monthly meeting of the Wicomico County Board of Education is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Board of Education Auditorium at 101 Long Ave., Salisbury. For the Oct. 10th meeting, the Board will convene at 1:00 p.m. and immediately vote to go into closed session. The open portion of the meeting will begin at about 1:30 p.m. The agenda for this meeting will be available by the Friday before the meeting on BoardDocs: https://go.boarddocs.com/mabe/wcboe/Board.nsf/Public This meeting will be livestreamed on the Watch Board Meetings page of the school system’s website (www.wicomicoschools.org). Meetings are viewable after they have ended and may be accessed in a variety of places, including BoardDocs, PAC 14, YouTube and the website of Wicomico County Public Schools.

Culinary Arts students from Career and Technical Education program prepared the meal today for the Wicomico County Retired School Personnel's Luncheon at the Moose Lodge in Salisbury. Great job to all the students who made a delicious meal!

The Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services invites parents of students with disabilities to the first Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) meeting of the school year. The meetings is scheduled for September 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The hybrid meeting will take place in the Media Center at Prince Street Elementary School. Wicomico County Public Schools joins our country in remembering the importance of September 11th each year. The 9/11 anniversary is also Patriot Day, and the National Day of Service and Remembrance. It's an important date for all to reflect on the lives lost and service given.
