​NATIONWIDE ALERT SYSTEM TEST to take place AT 2:20 PM on Wednesday October 4th

NATIONWIDE ALERT TEST TODAY AT 2:20 PM

Wicomico County Public Schools wants to inform students, staff and families of a nationwide Emergency Alert Test that will be sent to every cell phone in the United States at 2:20 p.m. TODAY, Wednesday October 4th.

The purpose of this nationwide test is to ensure that warning systems continue to be an effective means of alerting the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level. While this may cause a minor disruption, please note that this is just a drill and instruction may continue without delay.
