Tammy DeBerardinis, special education teacher at Fruitland Primary School, was honored this past Tuesday with the Extra Mile Award at the June Board of Education meeting with a certificate and plaque for saving a life. One of our little friends benefitted greatly from her quick action and life saving skills.
